This course can be taken by science students and most institutes take up the scores in the higher secondary for the admission. It is one of the popular health science courses through Bsc. Internships is mandatory and students get employed in clinical labs and they could seek employment in big private lab chains of the country. Master’s programme is also available for under graduates.
Optometry!
It is a four-year course and one year is for internship. The students learn about defects of the eyes and their solutions. They prescribe lenses and these professionals are the primary care givers and they assist eye doctors. With the end of the course they can seek employment in eye hospitals or they could seek in lens manufacturing units. These students can also do their post-graduation after course completion and work in the academic field.
